My background is in community ecology and molecular biology. My specific interests are in understanding trophic links, community succession and how the trophic structure of ecosystems shapes macro-evolutionary processes. I have used eDNA to track succession in lake plankton ecosystems and to assess dietary preferences in a range of aquatic and terrestrial organisms.
